Hello
A Bit About Me
I am a paleoecologist who studies the processes that govern ecological diversity and community structure change. I want to know why animals live where they do. Why do they eat certain foods? What traits co-vary with diet? I was awarded an NSF fellowship to continue my work on mammalian omnivory. In my research I use phylogenetic comparative methods, morphology studies, and stable isotopes to test hypotheses about the ecological links among extinct taxa and their environment. I am passionate about science communication, open data repositories, the outdoors, and diversity in the Sciences.
